Low Maintenance Colorbond Fencing

Colorbond® fences (also referred incorrectly by the names of Colourbond, Colour bond or Color bond) are being used more and more due to their long life and sharp, neat and clean cut finish. Colorbond fences are perfect for any area where you need solid, worry-free and low maintenance fencing.
These Australian made steel fences are designed by engineers to be extremely strong. Colorbond fences are made from quality galvanized steel and finished with a long lasting and durable coloured finish.
There are many different Colorbond fence colours to choose from and Colorbond fences are great because they are both weatherproof and fire proof making Colorbond fences a common choice of fence in many parts of Australia.
Colorbond fences are known as a solid fence that provides a high level of privacy and the use of Colorbond steel is very fashionable throughout Australia. Another attractive quality is the very low maintenance Colorbond fences require after initial construction.

The following are some ways to use Colorbond to change the look, add a feature and mix with other materials.

1. Colorbond sheets can be used as a feature panel in the middle of the fence, for example 3 timber or aluminium slats above and below it. Stained timber posts can also be used here for added looks.

2. Panels can be fitted vertically instead of horizontally to give a very different look and make it unclimbable.

3. Adding character to a fence can be done by choosing a different colour for the posts and trims, than the sheets. This is a very easy way to uplift the look of a fence at little or no additional cost.

Acoustic fencing reduces noise from adjoining properties or roads which is becoming a bigger issue as house blocks become smaller and smaller. Colorbond can assist in reducing noise by reflecting it not absorbing it. Just keep in mind where the sound might bounce to once reflected.

Colorbond fences come in a large variety of modern colours. View the Colorbond fencing colours that fencescape uses.
