What does ‘NB’ stand for in steel post sizing?

‘NB’ stands for ‘nominal bore’. The nominal bore is the hollow section of the pipe. Nominal refers to the approximate measurement of the bore (or the space in the middle of the pipe).

Is it easy to install?

Chainwire fence installation requires a bit of know-how and practice. It’s possible to do chain wire fencing yourself however if you’re new to fencing or doing just a small home fencing project, consider checking out our aluminium fencing range - it’s more straightforward making installation and construction simpler.

Do you have other colours available?

Yes, we also have plain galvanised fence post caps available too.
Our chain wire fencing supplies also come in uncoated galvanised steel.
Dark green PVC coated chain wire is also an option. Please get in contact with us and we can order it in for you!

How do I install the fence post caps?

Simply slide the post cap over the end of the pipe and give it a light hit with a rubber mallet to knock into place.
